Does anyone know if the airbox is replaceable. I pulled my cover off again today and it appears the bottom screw spot has split inside the air box. Just wondering ...

You should see if anyone with a 1300 has installed an after market airbox and still has their old one laying around!!! greazman[Rich] 8)

That happened with mine. I put the brass nut back in the plastic, and used the Hi-Tech Elmers from CVS called Stix All, and a small black zip-tie to pull it back together. Worked great...

You're welcome Laura... 8)

I read about a guy in CA in the VTXCafe' who had that problem, but used some copper pipe, and it sounded too much like a job for hand-tools, when glue and a zip-tie work as well, and are cheaper/easier to work with.

Scooter, have you resolved your issue with the air box. I have a modded air box you can have. The mod I have done is I opened it up a little before I swapped it out with Ashford's Breather. If you want to keep it stock, there is one for sale on the Cafe for $65.
